A transparent acrylic case acts as a support and container allowing us, in turn, to contemplate within it a world of lines and small objects that intersect. This case has been perforated and is crossed by horizontal, vertical and diagonal colored threads that generate a visual game of color and movement, which the viewer attends just by surrounding the piece.
Some of these threads have been painted with small and precise marks of acrylic paint, others are carriers of spheres and pieces of wood.
The vertical threads draw three shapes: a cross, an "S", and a circle at the top and bottom of the box, while the horizontal ones determine three equidistant dotted lines.
In this subtle game of intersecting lines, everything seems to be balanced, as in nature itself.
The meticulous order is reinforced by the tension of the threads and by the pieces that look like suspended in the air. Everything there is preserved and under control.
This piece entitled Etcétera, an expression that is used to replace the rest of an exposition or enumeration that goes without saying, tries to take for granted those things that should exist in our world. If one of the fine strings were cut everything would start to unbalance, so it would also happen if we do not take care of the nature of which we are part.
