2020年的新冠疫情对人类的影响深远，世界的各种秩序也随之改变，它也深刻影响着艺术家对世界变化的感受与认知。比如我们前所未有地关注被病毒感染、死亡和治愈的统计数字已成日常，数字时代的人类经历了一场前所未有的危机。数字对人们生活产生影响，数字也已然被赋予了特定的意义。 “七”这个数字就是其一，上帝以七天创世，一周为七天。从星象占卜，天文地理，到日常起居，“七”是一个约定的常数。
作品《七天》作于2020年，以七条菲林胶片刻画，表达的正是对2020这一年的特殊状态世界的观照。作品描绘的形象源于自然，介于有具象与抽象之间。作品以银盐胶片为基底直接刻画，以媒介材料本身追问摄影与绘画的跨界。画面计黑当白，刮掉银盐层，胶片正负面皆可以成像。只要有光，便可见到物象，也呈现一个世界。时辰更替，周遭更迭，作品会因为光的变化和折射而呈现不同景象。时间与空间，自然与人工，有限与无限，遮蔽与去弊，皆是无常。

La pandemia de Coronavirus de 2020 tuvo un impacto profundo y duradero en la humanidad, cambiando el orden del mundo, e incluyó la percepción al mundo del artista. Los humanos de la era digital fueron testigos de una crisis sin precedentes a través de las estadísticas de casos confirmados, pacientes recuperados y muertes. Los valores numéricos influyen constantemente en las vidas, y cada uno posee un significado particular. El número siete es especial ya que representa el número de días en los que Dios creó al mundo, estableciendo así el número de días de una semana. También es una constante convencional en la adivinación astrológica, la astronomía, la geometría y por lo tanto, en la vida cotidiana.
El proyecto titulado "Siete Días", pintado en siete piezas de película distintas, retrata el mundo de 2020. Siete imágenes únicas grabadas directamente sobre películas de bromuro de plata derivadas de la naturaleza, reflexiones entre alusiones abstractas y concretas. El material utilizado para estas obras indaga en la frontera entre la fotografía y la pintura. Los negros como los blancos aparecen en ambas caras, raspando la capa de bromuro de plata, y la película crea tanto la visualización en negativo como en positivo. Las luces habilitan las imágenes, componiendo así un mundo imaginario único. A medida que pasa el tiempo y el ángulo de la luz cambia para alterar las iluminaciones y los reflejos, se producen diferentes imágenes. El tiempo y el espacio, lo natural y lo artificial, lo finito y lo infinito, la ocultación y la revelación, todo es imprevisible.

The Coronavirus pandemic of 2020 made profound and long-lasting impacts on humanity, changing the order of the world. Digital-era humans witnessed an unprecedented crisis via the statistics of confirmed cases, recovered patients, and deaths. Numbers influence lives; therefore, they acquired specific meanings. The number seven is one of the specials, representing the number of days God spent creating the world, thus endowed as the number of days in a week. The number seven is a conventional constant in astrological divination, astronomy, geometry, and daily life.
The project entitled "Seven Days", painted on seven separate film pieces, portrays the world of 2020. Seven unique images engraved directly on silver bromide films derived from nature, reflections between abstract and concrete allusions. The material used for these works inquires the cross border between photography and painting. Blacks as whites appear on both sides, scraping away the silver-bromide layer, and the film creates both the negative and positive visualization. Lights enable images, thus composing a unique imaginative world. As time passes and the angle of the light changes to alter illuminations and reflections, different images occur. Time and space, natural and artificial, finite and infinite, concealment and revelation - are all unpredictable.
