艺术家简介Artist Biography
1968年10月生于新疆。清华大学美术学院雕塑系教授、系主任。中国当代著名雕塑家，中国雕塑学会会员，中国工艺美术学会雕塑专业委员会员。曾获得2020年中国·莆田国际雕塑艺术展优秀奖、2019年《雕塑》杂志2018年度公共艺术奖、2017年第四届丝绸之路国际艺术节“今日丝绸之路国际美术邀请展”特别荣誉奖、2014年中国姿态·第三届中国雕塑大展铜奖等荣誉。
从2001年至今举办个展和参加群展百余次，个展包括：2018年08月 “无界·2018中国甘肃瓜州戈壁滩海市蜃楼计划-董书兵作品”（甘肃），2017年05月 “大地之子-董书兵作品·2016中国甘肃瓜州隔壁大型雕塑创作”（甘肃），2014年07月 《融》董书兵大型竹子装置雕塑展（德国杜塞尔多夫马尔卡斯滕美术家协会），2013年10月 “还原·董书兵作品展”（北京798艺术区“悦”美术馆）等。

Dong Shubing was born in October 1968 in Xinjiang, China. He is a professor and dean of the sculpture department of the Academy of Arts and Design, Tsinghua University. He is a famous contemporary Chinese sculptor, a member of the Chinese Sculpture Society, and a member of the Sculpture Professional Committee of the Chinese Arts and Crafts Society. Dong Shubing was awarded the Excellence Award of China-Putian International Sculpture Art Exhibition in 2020, the Public Art Award of Sculpture Magazine 2018 in 2019, the Special Honor Award of "Today's Silk Road International Art Invitation Exhibition" of the 4th Silk Road International Art Festival in 2017, the Bronze Award of the 3rd Chinese Sculpture Exhibition in 2014, and other awards.
Dong Shubing has held more than 100 solo exhibitions and participated in group exhibitions. The solo exhibitions held since 2001 includes "Boundless - Gobi Beach Mirage Project- Works by Dong Shubing " Guangzhou, China, in 2018; "Children of the Earthworks by Dong Shubing " large-scale sculpture creation next to Guangzhou, Gansu, China" in 2016; "Melt" large-scale bamboo installation sculpture exhibition, Marckasten Art Association, Düsseldorf, Germany, in 2014; "Restore - Dong Shubing's works exhibition" 798 Art Zone, Beijing, 2013, "Yue" Art Museum), and other exhibitions.

Dong Shubing nació en octubre de 1968 en Xinjiang, China. Es catedrático y decano del Departamento de Escultura de la Academia de Artes y Diseño de la Universidad de Tsinghua. Es un famoso escultor chino contemporáneo, miembro de la Sociedad China de Escultura y del Comité Profesional de Escultura de la Sociedad China de Artes y Oficios. Dong Shubing fue galardonado con el Premio a la Excelencia de la Exposición Internacional de Arte Escultórico de China-Putian en 2020, el Premio de Arte Público de la Revista de Escultura durante el año de 2018, en 2019, el Premio de Honor Especial de la "Exposición Internacional de Arte de la Ruta de la Seda de Hoy" del 4º Festival Internacional de Arte de la Ruta de la Seda en 2017, el Premio de Bronce de la 3ª Exposición de Escultura de China en 2014, y otros premios.
