1987年1月生于山东省日照市，现任教于四川美术学院造型艺术学院雕塑系,副教授，中国美术家协会会员、中国雕塑学会会员、中国工艺美术学会雕塑专业委员会会员、中国雕塑学会青年推介计划艺术家、重庆市美术家协会会员、重庆市雕塑学会会员。
个人创作参加中华人民共和国文化和旅游部、中国文学艺术界联合会、中国美术家协会、中国美术家协会雕塑艺术委员会、中国美术家协会美术教育委员会、中华全国体育总会、国家教育部艺术教育委员会、中国美术馆、国家画院、中国雕塑学会、中国城市雕塑家协会、中国工艺美术学会、中国壁画学会、中国对外文化交流协会、葡萄牙东方博物馆等国家级展览30项左右，省部级展览50项左右。
作品获曾竹韶大奖、明天当代雕塑大奖、中国雕塑佳作奖、第十三届全国美展入选3个展区（其中雕塑进京作品1件、壁画、艺术设计入选各1件），重庆市美术作品展雕塑的二等奖、艺术设计三等奖、壁画三等奖、新星星艺术节年度新人奖、溢彩心一等奖、重庆雕塑大展优秀奖、麗宝国际雕塑双年奖佳作奖等奖项。作品被中国雕塑博物馆、山东美术馆、长春雕塑艺术馆、四川美术学院美术馆、天海美术馆、海澜美术馆、陶溪川美术馆、原美术馆等机构收藏。

Ge Pingwei nació en enero de 1987 en la ciudad de Rizhao, provincia de Shandong, China. En la actualidad, es catedrático asociado del Departamento de Escultura de la Escuela de Artes Plásticas de la Academia de Bellas Artes de Sichuan. Ge Pingwei es miembro de la Asociación de Artistas de China, miembro de la Sociedad de Escultura de China, miembro del Comité Profesional de Escultura de la Sociedad de Artes y Oficios de China, artista del Programa de Promoción Juvenil de la Sociedad de Escultura de China, miembro de la Asociación de Artistas de Chongqing y miembro de la Sociedad de Escultura de Chongqing.

Ge Pingwei was born in January 1987 in Rizhao City, Shandong Province, China. Currently, he is an associate professor teaching at the Sculpture Department of the School of Plastic Arts, Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts. Ge Pingwei is a member of the Chinese Artists Association, a member of China Sculpture Society, a member of Sculpture Professional Committee of China Arts and Crafts Society, an artist of Youth Promotion Program of China Sculpture Society, a member of Chongqing Artists Association, and a member of Chongqing Sculpture Society.
Ge Pingwei participated in the exhibitions organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China, the Chinese Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the Chinese Artists Association, the Sculpture Art Committee of the Chinese Artists Association, the Art Education Committee of the Chinese Artists Association, the All-China Sports Federation, and the Art Education of the Ministry of Education Committee, National Art Museum of China, National Academy of Painting, China Sculpture Society, China Urban Sculptor Association, China Arts and Crafts Society, Chinese Mural Society, China Association for International Cultural Exchanges, Portuguese Oriental Museum, and other institutions. His works were exhibited in more than 30 national-level exhibitions and 50 provincial-level exhibitions.
Ge Pingwei's works won the "Zeng Zhushao Award", "Tomorrow Contemporary Sculpture Award", "China Sculpture Masterpiece Award", the second prize of Chongqing Fine Arts Exhibition Sculpture, the third prize of the art design, the third prize of mural painting, the "New Star Art Festival Annual Newcomer Award", the first prize of Yi Caixin, the "Chongqing Sculpture Exhibition Excellence Award", the "Lihpao International Sculpture Biennial Award", and other awards. One of his mural and art design were selected in 3 exhibition areas, including one sculpture in Beijing. Ge Pingwei's works have been collected by art institutions such as China Sculpture Museum, Shandong Art Museum, Changchun Sculpture Art Museum, Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts Art Museum, Tianhai Art Museum, Hailan Art Museum, Taoxichuan Art Museum, and Yuan Art Museum.
