I developed my own technique to make “stained glass” from the recycled plastic. I have created windows for hollows of willow trees. I have created the Willow Temple, open for everyone. Colors are dancing inside the trunks of my trees on a sunny days. I also installed a small solar battery on the top of the tree so inside it feels like a real temple.

In my group of sculptures Faces of the Forest, which I have made from the oak branches and acrylic masks, I am illustrating that it is easy to exploit and destroy something that we see as a faceless, emotionless object. Maybe giving forest a face would make some of us think twice before turning on a chainsaw.

我开创了一种制作工艺，那就是用回收的塑料制作“彩色玻璃”。我用这种彩色玻璃和柳条做成窗户，建设了柳树教堂，并对所有人开放。在阳光灿烂的日子里，光透过玻璃照下来，色彩闪烁跳动。我还在树的顶部安装了一个小型太阳能电池，使其更像一个真实的室内空间。

至于雕塑作品《森林的面孔》则是想要表达：我们很容易利用和破坏那些我们以为没有面孔、没有情感的物体。也许赋予森林一张脸，会让我们中的一些人在打开电锯前三思。
