Artist Biography

Krzysztof Renes graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in 2015. His interest is in Sculpture since he belongs to the third generation of the family of craftsmen working in metal. He develops and implements his own techniques, using industrial innovations and confronting them with the traditional language of sculpture.

Through his work, he looks for features of culture that reflect its origins and its boundaries in the technological and cultural dimension. His works are always a form of dualism, operating on the border of figure and abstraction, tradition and modernity, culture and nature. Although almost all of the works reflect the image of a human body, for the author it is not only figurative art. The transformed body is here a carrier of content, symbols or emotions – a sign in space.

He creates awards and statuettes sculptures for the sports industry and business events such as the Gala of Sports Champions, the European Forum for New Ideas or the Ekstraklasa Gala.
His several metal sculptures from 50 cm up to 4 meters can be shown as installations or as individual objects.
