Artist Biography

里拉·库尔卡教授曾就读于波兰克拉科夫美术学院(ASP),并以优异成绩毕业于波兹南艺术学院(PWSSP),专业为绘画和挂毯,师从Stanislaw Teisseyre教授和Magdalena Abakanowicz教授。
2000年起,她开始在克拉科夫美术学院任教,并担任该校绘画系的挂毯工作室的主任。她同时任教于卡托维兹技术学院,并负责该学院的纺织艺术实验室。
库尔卡现任波兰艺术家联盟成员,波兰克拉科夫美术学院教授。
库尔卡的作品包括挂毯、绘画,同时在跨学科活动、展览设计和教学等领域中亦颇有建树。库尔卡在欧洲、美国、加拿大、墨西哥、巴西、以色列等17个国家举办过300多场展览。

获奖情况:波兰罗兹国际壁挂三年展获特等奖、二等奖;1976-1980年,波兰克拉科夫年度挂毯大赛获特等奖;2001年荣获波兰艺术家和设计师协会金奖;波兰艺术家和设计师协会艺术奖;2016年获金十字勋章。

Prof. Lilla Kulka attended the Academy of Fine Arts (ASP) in Cracow and graduated State College of Arts (PWSSP) in Poznan with distinction in painting and tapestry from the studios of Professors Stanislaw Teisseyre and Magdalena Abakanowicz respectively. 
She began a teaching tenure at the Academy of Fine Arts (ASP) in Cracow where, from 2000, she has headed the Tapestry Studio at the Interdisciplinary Department of Painting. She has simultaneously taught at the Katowice School of Technology, where she has led the Laboratory of Textile Arts.
Member of the Union of Polish Artists. Professor, Academy of Fine Arts, Cracow, Poland.
Lilla Kulka's work spans tapestry, painting, drawing, interdisciplinary activities, exhibition design and teaching. She participated in over 300 exhibitions in 17 countries in Europe, the US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, and Israel.
