I like to observe. People, their shapes and faces have a strong influence on me. I feel the physical presence of others strongly in my body - the body mass and tension. Over the years, as an epee, I developed the ability to sense the intentions of a masked person standing in front of me. Now the problems of the body, its plasticity, movement and connotation inspire me to create.
I choose sculpture as my medium because it doesn't fawn at the audience or scream for attention. It is against current speed and change. It brings peace.
The photographed bas-reliefs are made of plaster and materials such as string or sand. The laborious, hand-made sculptural form preserved in the form of a poster corresponds to the theme of suspended determination, stopped preparations.
I create my works step by step, in a physical encounter with matter: I prepare them at the beginning in plasticine, then they require removing silicone molds, plaster mold casting, and finally they have to be strengthened with jute.
At the end, the bas-reliefs are refined in plaster and composed with other materials.
