这件作品采用的材料来源于我工作室大楼的一堵破墙之上，更准确地说是在隔壁房间。每一块墙体都被掰碎与倒置，但保留着最古老的油漆层。新星提出了一种基于当下重新解读过往的视角，在这其中就出现了这个世界的各种表现方式。这些衰败的、勉勉强强钉在墙上的碎片，呈现了一个由巨大的漂浮群岛、陆地岛屿、海洋岛屿和不确定的漂浮空间组成的分裂景观。

Esta obra surge de una pared deteriorada en el edificio de mi taller, más precisamente en la habitación contigua. Cada trozo fue desprendido e invertido, quedando las capas de pintura mas antiguas al frente. Novus sugiere una visión del presente a partir de una relectura del pasado, donde aparecen formas que remiten a modos de representación del mundo. De estos fragmentos de decadencia, apenas prendidos con alfileres en la pared, surge un paisaje dividido, compuesto por amplios archipiélagos flotantes, islas de tierra, islas de mar y un incierto espacio de flotación.

This work arises from a deteriorated wall in my workshop building, more precisely in the adjoining room. Each piece was detached and inverted, leaving the oldest layers of paint in front. Novus suggests a vision of the present based on a rereading of the past, where forms that refer to modes of representation of the world appear. From these fragments of decadence, barely pinned to the wall, a divided landscape emerges, made up of vast floating archipelagos, islands of land, islands of sea, and an uncertain floating space.
