创作理念 Artwork Concept
作品《谧》的创作源于对自然生态的关注。作品通过塑造一群优雅、鲜活的火烈鸟形态徜徉漫步在沙滩或湿地中，作品与所处环境产生自然和谐的美感，从形式到内容上达到对自然生态主题的阐述。作品注重对新材料及造型语言的创新思维和研究。钢网本身轻薄而通透，叠加法会产生朦胧梦幻的视觉美感，符合营造静谧而神秘的视觉效果。
这种材料可以塑造形体又区别于传统雕塑材料的密闭性空间占有方式。钢材料的着色处理既可以改变金属材质本身的情感属性，同时可以实现作品的情感表达。在造型中作者利用钢网质材料的软度，借助纤维“软雕塑”中的剪切、折叠、缠绕、缝纫等工艺，以手作“缝制”方法完成了形态结构变化与连接处理。这种制作方式改变了金属材料本身常用的工艺方法。钢网质又有一定的强度与可塑性，因此可以达到软材料无法具有的属性和表现型，借用压印的手法完成细节的肌理和结构处理，以达到不同的视觉体验。

La preocupación por la ecología natural inspiró a Zhang Wendi a crear el proyecto artístico "Mi". Una bandada de elegantes y vivos flamencos que deambulan por una playa o un humedal, crea una sensación de armonía natural con el entorno. La artista pretende conseguir una elaboración de la naturaleza y la ecología desde la forma hasta el contenido. Zhang Wendi quiere romper los límites de la escultura tradicional y centrarse en el pensamiento innovador y la investigación de nuevos materiales y lenguaje plástico. La malla de acero es un material ligero y permeable, y a través del método de superposición, produce un efecto visual nebuloso y de ensueño, que también crea una sensación de tranquilidad y misterio.
La malla de acero puede crear la forma que es diferente del material escultórico tradicional sobre cómo ocupar el espacio circundante. La coloración de la malla de acero puede cambiar los atributos naturales del propio material metálico, al tiempo que resalta la expresión emocional de la obra. Zhang Wendi utiliza la flexibilidad de las fibras las "esculturas blandas", usando la malla de acero para cortar, doblar, retorcer, coser y dar forma a la obra. El método de cosido a mano para conectar y completar el cuerpo es un método inusual para los materiales metálicos. Concerns for natural ecology inspired Zhang Wendi to create the art project "Mi". She uses sculpture as a medium and incorporates it with Chinese imagery aesthetics. Together, they form a flock of elegant, vivid flamingos wandering on a beach or in a wetland, creating a sense of natural harmony with the surrounding environment. The artist seeks to achieve an elaboration of nature and ecology from form to content. Zhang Wendi wants to break traditional sculpture boundaries and focus on innovative thinking and research of new materials and modeling language. Steel mesh is a lightweight and permeable material, and through the superposition method, it produces a hazy and dreamy visual effect, which also creates a quiet and mysterious feeling.
The steel mesh can shape the form that is different from the traditional sculpture material on how to occupy the surrounding space. The coloring of steel mesh can change the natural attributes of the metal material itself, while it also highlights the emotional expression of the work. Zhang Wendi uses the flexibility of steel mesh during the modeling to cut, fold, twist, and sew and shape work, just like those "soft sculptures" made of fiber and cloth. The hand-sewing method to connect and complete the body is an unusual method for metal materials. The unity of the mind, hands, and eyes during the working process creates a tacit and emotional relationship between the artist and the work. With its strength and plasticity, steel mesh can achieve qualities and expressions that regular soft materials do not have. By embossing the structure to form texture and details, the artwork creates a different visual experience.
