《2018·蜕》系列是作者一直来坚持以纤维材料为固有介质的创作实验，集中体现其这几年的艺术思考与实践探索。作者认为，此作品至今也不能说已完善或成熟，仍存在着许多问题，而创作过程中的偶然性很大，就像是“蜕”的本意：它始终是一个变化的过程。
在《2018·蜕》作品之前，纤维艺术领域中很少见到用这种手法，把一种“软” 的材料做成透明而且固定的造型，在光的作用下产生不同的视觉效果。由于“软”材料的轻盈和飘逸，给人在创作中带来无限的可能性和想象力。中国纤维艺术家林乐成先生评价作者及其作品时说到:“这是第一个把雕塑用纤维材料做‘透明’的艺术家。”
艺术是一定要面对一些问题和回答一些问题的，它的存在不仅仅是内容和形式。作品《2018·蜕》无论是在符号上、手法上，还是视觉效果上都带有强烈的东方色彩。
“蜕”本身是一个时间的过程，它会发生“量”的变化、“形”的变化和“质” 的变化。而这一变化的结果，让人们很难想像“蜕”前的原形，同样也难以预测最后的结果。
“蜕”本身更是一种自然现象，它是生命的过程，有其周期性，不存在人们给它的愿望及定义。它具有本身的属性，尽管人们的愿望是美好的，而且充满着希冀与期待。"辞海"对“蜕”的另一延伸层面从科学角度作出了解释，即“放射性元素自然变成另一种元素的现象”。而作品《2018.蜕》系列也是希望通过艺术的实践，带来认知、情感、价值，乃至生命的转变。

La serie 2018 - Metamorfosis es una serie de experimentos en los que el autor ha insistido en utilizar materiales de fibra como medio inherente, centrándose en su pensamiento artístico y su exploración en los últimos años. El autor cree que esta obra no puede ser perfecta ni madura hasta ahora, y que todavía hay muchos problemas, y que el proceso de creación es incierto, al igual que el significado original de "metamorfosis": siempre es un proceso incompleto.
Antes de 2018 - Metamorfosis, era raro en el campo del arte de fibra utilizar esta técnica para convertir un material blando en una forma transparente y fija que produjera diferentes efectos visuales bajo el efecto de la luz. La naturaleza ligera y aireada del material blando permite un sinfín de posibilidades creativas.. El artista chino Lin Lecheng, quien trabaja con fibras, dice del autor y de su obra: "Es el primer artista que hace una escultura 'transparente' en material de fibra".
El arte está obligado a enfrentarse a algunas preguntas y responderlas, más allá de las reflexiones sobre contenido y formas. La obra 2018 - Metamorfosis es fuertemente oriental en su simbolismo, técnicas y efecto visual.
La metamorfosis en sí es un proceso que tiene lugar a lo largo del tiempo, con cambios cuantitativos, formales y cualitativos. Este cambio hace difícil imaginar la forma original antes de la metamorfosis, e igualmente difícil predecir el resultado.
Es un fenómeno natural, un proceso de la vida, con sus ciclos y propiedades. Es ajeno a las definiciones y deseos que proyectemos, aunque sean buenos y estén llenos de esperanza y expectativa. Otra definición de la palabra metamorfosis que da el diccionario es "el fenómeno de la transformación natural de un elemento radiactivo en otro elemento". La serie 2018 - Metamorfosis pretende transformar la percepción, la emoción, el valor e incluso la vida a través de la práctica artística.

The series "2018 - Metamorphosis" is a series of experiments in which the author had insisted on using fiber materials as the inherent medium, focusing on his artistic thinking and practical exploration in the past few years. The author believes that this work cannot be perfect or mature, and there are still many problems, and the process of creation is highly contingent, just like the original meaning of "metamorphosis": it is always a process of change.
Before "2018 - Metamorphosis", it was rare in the field of fiber art to use this technique to make a "soft" material into a transparent and fixed form that would produce different visual effects under the effect of light. The light and airy nature of the "soft" material allows for endless possibilities and imagination in creation. Art is bound to confront some questions and answer some issues; it exists beyond content and form. The work "2018 - Metamorphosis" is strongly oriental in its symbolism, approach, and visual effect.
The "metamorphosis" itself is a process that takes place over time, with quantitative changes, formal changes, and qualitative changes. The result of this change is that it is difficult to imagine what it was like before the "metamorphosis". This change makes it difficult to imagine the original form before the metamorphosis and equally difficult to predict the outcome.
