作品《退一步》的创作始于2020年初“新冠”疫情肆虐、全民在家不能外出期间，完成于2021年谷雨季节。断断续续，历时一年，创作的过程也是作者为此次灾难祈祷的过程。
作品经过了数个创作历程，运用了多种材料，有传统的，也有最现代的，还釆用了数字媒体的处理手段。自然材料与现代科技手段相结合，材料的面貌虽然最终并无法展现给观众，但每个过程都是不可缺少的一部分，作品最终却表达出作者的视觉追求和观念。让视觉与观念合二为一。这也是作者在创作过程中对艺术的思考。
作品《退一步》创作的第一阶段，经过了中国传统宣纸和香火的"对话"，塑造了作者心中的“佛”。第二阶段，初期作品经过了电脑的图像处理，达到了用原始手工无法达到的视觉效果。第三阶段:运用新型现代材料和现代打印技术，在原图形上进行层次变化并放大无数倍，终于达到了最初所设想的视觉效果与创作用意，所谓“退一步”也就是:在视觉上，让观者在通常的展厅里，以习惯的距离很难看清此“形”的真貌，只有退出一定的距离，或更远的距离，人们眼里才会清晰的呈现出作品本身—— “一尊佛”的形象。而人世间，大千世界，想获得觉悟，达到涅槃，何尝不是如此，退一步"佛"就在眼前。
作品《退一步》宽三米，长六米，由于尺寸较大，创作完毕，一时很难在合适的地方拍摄，便借助朋友的绿色山地，进行了航拍。拍摄的过程也是继续创作的一部分，它准确、完整的阐述了作品意图。当航拍机缓缓离开地面，境头里"佛" 的形象也渐渐清晰。

La creación de la obra Un paso atrás comenzó a principios de 2020, durante la epidemia de la covid-19, cuando toda la población estaba en cuarentena, y se completó en la temporada de lluvias de 2021. El proceso de creación fue también una oración por el desastre.
La obra ha pasado por varios viajes creativos, utilizando diversos materiales, tanto los tradicionales como los más modernos, así como el uso del procesamiento de medios digitales. Con la combinación de materiales naturales y medios tecnológicos modernos, la apariencia material no se revela en última instancia al espectador, sin embargo, cada proceso es una parte integral de la obra, que en última instancia expresa las búsquedas visuales y las ideas del autor. Lo visual y lo conceptual se unen. Este compromiso es también la forma en que el autor piensa en el arte en el proceso de creación.
La primera etapa de la creación de esta obra fue un diálogo entre el papel tradicional chino y el incienso para crear el "Buda" en la mente del autor. En la segunda etapa, el trabajo inicial se informatizó para conseguir un efecto visual que no se podía lograr a mano. En la tercera etapa se adoptan nuevos materiales modernos y tecnología de impresión moderna; la figura original se transforma y amplía innumerables veces, logrando finalmente el efecto visual y la intención creativa previstos originalmente, el llamado un paso atrás. Visualmente, el espectador apenas puede ver esta "forma" a la distancia habitual en la sala de exposiciones. Sólo retrocediendo una cierta distancia, o incluso más, la obra -la imagen de un Buda- se torna visible. De la misma manera sucede en el mundo en general. si se quiere alcanzar la iluminación y el Nirvana.
La obra mide 3 metros de ancho y 6 de largo. Debido al tamaño de la obra, el proceso de fotografiarla fue un reto, por lo que se hizo una fotografía aérea con la ayuda un amigo en su terreno montañoso verde. El proceso de fotografiar también formó parte del proceso continuo de creación, que ilustra de forma completa y precisa la intención de la obra. A medida que la cámara aérea se alejaba del suelo, la imagen de Buda se hacía más evidente.

The work "One Step Back" began in early 2020 during the "new crown" epidemic, when the entire population was under lockdown and was completed in the rainy season of 2021. The process of creation was also a prayer for the disaster.
The work has undergone several creative journeys, using a variety of materials, both traditional and the most modern, as well as the use of digital media processing. With the combination of natural materials and modern technological means, the appearance of the materials is not ultimately revealed to the viewer. However, each process is an integral part of the work, which ultimately expresses the author's visual pursuits and ideas. The visual and the conceptual become one. This engagement is also how the author thinks about art in the process of creation.
The first stage of creating "One Step Back" was a dialogue between traditional Chinese rice paper and incense to create the "Buddha" in the author's mind. In the second stage, the initial work was computerized to achieve a visual effect that could not be achieved by hand. The third stage adopts new modern materials and modern printing technology; the original figure is transformed and enlarged countless times, finally achieving the visual effect and creative intent originally envisaged, the so-called "step back". Visually, the viewer can hardly see this "form" at the usual distance in the exhibition hall. "Only by stepping back a certain distance, or even further, will the work itself - the image of a Buddha - be visible to the eye. The world at large, if one wants to achieve enlightenment and nirvana, is not like that in the human world.
The work "One Step Back" is three meters wide and six meters long. Due to the size of the artwork, the photographing process was challenging, so an aerial shot was taken with the help of a friend's green mountainous terrain. As the aerial camera slowly left the ground, the image of the Buddha in the realm head became more evident. The filming process was also part of the continued creation, which wholly and accurately illustrates the work's intent.
