Instead of bamboo gabions, Ling Gang chose stainless steel sheets to weave his ideal lyre in the shape of a Taihu stone. Shinning in the sunlight, metal pieces were weaved, and each woven piece reflects the past and reveals the future; it is a woven dream of intertwined warp and weft, a dream filled with the music of nature. This "woven poem" emphasizes the ripples continuously blossoming on the lake in the south of the river. The forms have a rigid and soft character as if they were a long-lost shi (ancient Chinese scholars).
