1965年生。现为清华大学美术学院陶瓷艺术设计系系主任、教授、博士生导师。同时担任中国美术家协会陶瓷艺术委员会主任，国际陶瓷学会会员。
曾在法国尼斯（2020）、于比利时拉卢维耶尔（2019）、法国普罗旺斯（2018）、葡萄牙里斯本（2017）、中国北京（2017）、法国巴黎（2014）举办个人艺术展。其中，2014年7月，在巴黎亚洲艺术博物馆举办的“白明”个展同时被法国外交部、法国文化中心和中国文化部纳入中法建交50周年重点项目。
Bai Ming was born in 1965. Currently, he is the head of the Department of Ceramic Art and Design, a professor and a doctoral supervisor of the Academy of Arts and Design, Tsinghua University. Bai Ming is the director of the Ceramic Art Committee of the Chinese Artists Association and a member of the International Ceramic Society.
Bai Ming has held solo art exhibitions in Nice, France, in 2020; in 2019, La Louvière, Belgium; in 2018, Provence, France; in 2017, Lisbon, Portugal; in 2017, Beijing, China, and in 2014, Paris, France. In July 2014, the solo exhibition "Bai Ming" took place among leading projects of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between France and China by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the French Cultural Center, and the Chinese Ministry of Culture, at the Asian Art Museum in Paris.
