Catá’s work centers on the theme of impermanence declaring that little will remain of our existence and our connection to others. Only a few threads of lived memories may stitch themselves into the lives of others through the objects, footprints, and traces we leave behind.S

He believes the body is the canvas of our life. It reflects our environment and experiences. We absorb each person’s image and impressions and in this way, people leave an imprint of themselves upon us. Every moment lived stays in the memory but eventually the memory of their presence in one’s life is eroded and forgotten.
